the archive of design of Isaac Gertman. Isaac is Co-Principal of Paperwhite. Before joining Paperwhite, he was Senior Designer at Pure+Applied, where he contributed to the design and production of exhibitions, wayfinding systems, books, printed ephemera, motion graphics and websites. His design work has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society of Publication Designers. He currently teaches advanced courses in Graphic Design and Typography at the Maryland Institute College of Art; Environmental Graphic Design at Parsons, the New School for Design; and at City College, in the Department of Landscape Architecture. His writing has appeared in Print magazine, Step magazine, DesignBureau, and the design blog SpeakUp. Isaac received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
